Adaptation Development Engineer
Central Visayas - Cebu City

Responsibilities:

- R&D Engineer / Specialist, doing specification, implementation, testing & documentation
- Supporting other R&D teams
- Supporting Technical Support in demanding customer cases

Main Responsibility Areas:
· to install, configure and integrate 3rd party and in-house software into Platform layer of a product using mainly scripting by bash and Perl languages
· to work with Agile (SCRUM, TDD, pair-programming) and incremental software development processes and automated (Robot) testing methods.
· work can be tailored in any of your skills of interest based on several options with Red Hat OS, Oracle database and Websphere Application Server related installation, configuration and automated testing challenges
· experience about installation and configuration in Operating Systems and 3rd party softwares

Requirements:

End-to-end testing/verification skills and quality assurance attitude (general system testing skills)
Capable of writing SQL queries (with Oracle Developer, or TOAD etc..)
Familiar with Eclipse and SVN development environment
Familiar with XML and Excel export functionality
Capable of writing Test Automation cases (some SW development skill in one or more area of C++, Perl, python, java)
Linux user skills (familiar with Linux OS structure and basic commands)
Basic Radio Network Element (Access network) system knowledge (for LTE, RNC, WBTS, AXC, I-HSPA)
