meh..site's down oh well i guess it's not time to buy a new car yet. hahaha

this 3SGE engine will have to do for now problem is it's AT (cos my wife prefers AT) sigh.. at least it's still does the job for overtaking at 130-140 kph. I just wish I could get to the 5k+ rpm sweet spot by changing gear instead of dropping overdrive and punching it.

It's a Corona Exiv 1996 that I got for a pretty good deal NZ$4000 (P130,000) I love the 3SGE so much potential for my style of driving. Here's a pic.

IMHO I hate the body kit they slapped on it--too boy racery for my taste. Figures...it was for a Skyline. And check out the fucgly tires man!!! lol, gonna have to replace those trucker tracks soon!

I've a newfound affection for Toyotas now hahaha. Was actually trying to look for an MX5 to import hehe a nice little roadster to cruise around with a little SQ sound setup in it's otherwise uselessly small trunk! hahaha. I'll just save up for an RX(x) have a go at some gas guzzlin rotary. hehe.

Nope..would cost too much..even just trying to find a replacement or a stock set. Since the main reason I bought this was for the good deal on the price for a very healthy 3SGE, there's no point in spending more than a couple of hundred for aesthetics. I'm seriously thinking about removing that big ass spoiler back there though. Right now I'm just doing the SQ setup. No major projects on the body though..will give this to my wife anyway as soon as i find myself a nice little coupe..maybe an old RX7.

I was going to add an H&K cone filter to replace the stock. Did a couple of computations in the head and realized that I would only end up losing HP cos of sucking in hot air. I did plan on fabricating a fiberglass completely sealed enclosure and have just pure cold air running through it (ported somewhere with medium pressure) but the fact of having to do all that just for a mere 9HP (if even) on an NA is just a waste of time.

All i'll be getting is a noiser engine bay which I'll have to deal with inside the cabin..not good for a SQ sound setup.

if its diesel theres pretty much nothing you can do,...

you can install "dynamat" all over your engine bay,... (like engine firewall / underneath your hood,.... pretty much your whole engine compartment)
