yup, my daughter can't wait for her birthday gift too
she loves the Friends Set, brilliant move by Lego imo
@teoding: I see. But Cindy already ordered the same car, she's very independent. She told me that she hasn't ridden any construction vehicles (hint).
Wee, mubalik napud mi SM. Thank goodness for my wife and daughter for wanting to go shopping. Shopping pud ko. Feel feel napud ko ani and this time I'd feel for two circles - gladiator and evil dwarf.

Design
- Based on LEGO's description, he's definitely inspired by Godzilla
- And you've got to love the ridges on his back, all 9 of them
- This figure is best displayed sideways or at least three quarters facing the audience
Paint
- Paint is minimal. I wish it had more scales all over the body.
- Some minor paint defects like in the bottom teeth
- The eyes are painted menacingly enough
Accessories
- None. I wish it had a mini-city to stomp on but that's easily rectified with some of my bricks from the Creator series.
Fun Factor
- This minifigure would be definitely fun to play with. I mean who isn't fascinated with monsters. Some even fall in love with them (Bella and Edward and Jacob for example, barf).
Gripe
- I wish the head fully covered the face but I think this would have been a design issue so this is basically a trivial nitpick on my part
Score: 4.5/5

LEGO Series 5 Blind Packages
One of the sales ladies at SM Cebu, Christine, helped me 'feel' for the figures. I brought the leaflet and told her what figures I was looking for. She told me she might have found the Evil Dwarf because of its uniquely shaped helmet. I felt for it to confirm and said yes, there's a chance that it is. We continued looking for the Gladiator but she found something long instead. I felt for it and knew it was Ice Fisherman. He's the only figure in this series with the longest accessory and I also felt the fish. We continued to search for the Gladiator and I think I found it because of the helmet and a round thingie which I think is his shield. Well, it's time to open them up. The suspense is killing me.
2 out of 3 is not bad at all
It seems I mistook the Gladiator's shield for the Detective's magnifying glass. My mistake was forgetting to feel for the raised part of the Gladiator's shield (reference: LEGO.com Minifigures : Bios - Series 5 - Gladiator)
I can use the Detective as the driver for my incoming old roadster from the LEGO Creator 3-in-1 (6913) Blue Roadster set.
