di siguro kay e install mana ang skype ana cguro nga extension , not sure but sa skype na ilang gamit.

mao jud. ang ym igo ra txt msgs di pwede video ug voice.

naa man bro..gagamit pa gli ko nganhi.. anyway mao dili mo function ang video con sa 12.04 kay na alter ang path sa v4l1compat.so imo rana ge change

New Path

LD_PRELOAD=/usr/lib/i386-linux-gnu/libv4l/v4l1compat.so /usr/bin/skype

Old Path

LD_PRELOAD=/usr/lib32/libv4l/v4l1compat.so skype

but wait kinahanglan pa nimo e install ang libv4l-0before that install Ubuntu restricted extras from the software center inig human open kag terminal dayon: copy & paste this

sudo gedit /usr/share/applications/skype.desktop

then naa ka mkita nga ingon ani sa line 4 "exec=skype" without the quotes
imo lang na ilisan kana nga line sa ani:

Exec=bash -c 'LD_PRELOAD=/usr/lib/i386-linux-gnu/libv41/v11compat.so skype'

save and exit.

open Skype and test ur Webcam
