this is an interesting story .
hapit na man pista sa Opao Mandaue, mamista na diay ang mayor sa ilang Ouano, this i got to see.
This is a sad testament that there are no political parties with established platforms in our country. Politics is guided by self-interest and not political beliefs. What is good for the politician is where his loyalty is bestowed until the winds shift and his loyalty is conveniently transferred to another party. The Ouanos, with their shabu and membership fame should never have been allowed to join the mayor's party. After all, to them, this shift is just a temporary accomodation until the 2016 election comes. Jonas' platform calls for "serbisyo not negosyo", the exact opposite of Teddy's and Lollipop's "pila'y ako ana".
It is a noble cause to unite politicians to work harmoniously for the good of our Mandaue but when that sought-after unity would give a scoundrel the chance for a political come back, that unity becomes a disservice to the city we love.
Politics in the Philippines is very dirty Politicians change parties as if there just changing cloths instead of basing there beliefs in party platforms whoever sits in power they will flock like ants bec this is where money flows Pork Barrel anyone........
excuse me but ... tedyboy already made his comeback in politics before joining the LP ...... it wasn't the Mayor who gave tedyboy his chance at a comeback ... to set the record straight ...
many of those in the Mayor's team have pasts to be reckoned with but they serve under the leadership of a GOOD man therefore i'm am not too concerned with them making the decisions in City Hall ... kay si Jonas man ang mag buot ... i believe that it was for political harmony that motivated the unification ... not to give political scoundrels a second chance ...![]()
again to set the record straight ... the Mayor was with the party of arroyo in 2010 ... but because the president's party did not respect the equity of the incumbent rule in our Mandaue ... the Mayor had to move out of his party as there cannot be 2 standard bearers for mayor to a party ... there can only be one ...
thus the mayor opted to join the PNoy bandwagon ... and further enhanced his political position ...
yes things do happen for a reason ...![]()
