I would still use a little flash for that koto. Its just me.
I would still use a little flash for that koto. Its just me.
My example:
Taken inside the ladies wash room. Used some fill flash (Direct) mixed with the ambient. It does have some harsh shadow though.
i tired using flash on some of my shots but i when i view the result on my monitor, mas nindot ang color sa 50mm 2.8 set upOriginally Posted by Ian

nice pic....
koto: i'd have to agree with IAN. The lights totally buried the subjects. You were shooting a fashion show, thus the subject should be the clothes / models not the stage lighting. throwing in a fill flash may have helped regain a bit of the color of the clothes and may have also helped separate the model from all the lights.
@ian - bilib ko nimo...gi-unsa nimo pag sulod sa ladies room?....
Hahaha.. Was hired to take some pics and the designer wanted to have the models pose for some pics before getting into the catwalk.Originally Posted by Minuano27

taken with canon s3is using 48x zoom (4x digital)
f/3.5 1/80 -1EV
still learning the functions of the cam. but very convenient iya very high zoom
@koykoy - when shooting the moon, its better to use a small opening... say f5.6 or even f6.3 and a faster shuter speed together with it... around 1/350s... timpl-timplaha lang bro. with this setting you'll get more details and not a blownnout moon ... and if i may suggest, dont use the digital zoom of your camera to the max (if possible not at all) it will take away lots of details of the pic... 12x optical is good enough
here are some of mine
Take it from edwin_sn.
