Default OMG. No saltwater reef aquarium hobbyists?

    Good day guys!

I'm Lana from Dumaguete City. I want to start on an aquarium hobby, specifically saltwater aquarium. Would you believe it? All petshops here in our city only do Freshwater aquarium and sells freshwater fish only. I have been reading and watching clips on youtube about Reef aquarium and I think they are truly magnificent. Aside from being more costly, they are also high maintenance and requires considerable time to take care of. Despite that, reef aquariums are by far and large more breathtaking. the marine life you can put in a reef aquarium are also more vibrant and colorful. here is an example:

Setting up a reef aquarium like that is a complicated and tedious process but it is all worthwhile in the end. It requires good lighting, filtration, aeration, protein skimmer, heater, thermometer, the test kits, etc etc etc.

What I'm looking for is where I can buy those aquacultured corals here in the Philippines? I don't want to be build an aquarium such as the one pictured, but maybe a fraction smaller than that with smaller corals. Naa dira Cebu City? Is anyone here in Visayas into this hobby? Naay baligya nga corals online but only sold in the US and they cost between 60 to 150 dollars depending on the size and the number of corals inside. They don't ship it outside the US.

If anyone of you is into this hobby or knows anyone who sell saltwater aquarium "stuff," you may text me at this number: 09063131390. thanks!

that's the irony sa? those owners of reef aquarium i saw in youtube get their corals from tropical country like ours, pero kita mismo wala gabaligya in our country.

I don't have a big aquarium, just a small one. about 5 gallons. I can buy the live rock here in Dumaguete. It's the corals I need.
    Pila kaha? I don't need a lot.

    Thank you so much.

tsk2x this is whats wrong with this hobby. unlike fresh water most of the fish and plant are shall we say captive breed na. but unlike sa marine tanks mu kuhaa pa ta sa ato own nga dagat. thats why i never did like this hobby and most of the fish and corals ends up dead.
