2nd Commandment in the Bible:

2nd Commandment in the Roman Catholic Church:
Thou shall not take the name of the Lord you GOD in vain

true, there are catholics who may seem like worshipping idols and whatnot.but you do not see the heart,therefore places you in no position to judge.and besides, are you sure that you don't fail in idolatry as well?
or you could have just taken the commandment about carvings and images too literally.kang kinsa man diay nang image ang naa diha sa Catholic church? diba kang Jesus? images of pagan gods and pasabut ana bro.like sa mga Jews in the time of moses nga naghimu ug golden calf.

and you stating that Catholics don't base their faith in the bible is such a huge claim, i hope you're right 'cause if you ain't you're in Big trouble..i hope the bible you read has teachings about judging others..
and by your claim, it clearly shows that you know nothing about Catholism..why dont you google it or ask a priest if you have questions about the practices,so that you may at least have the slightest idea before you talk.

I practice DIY Christianity, but Catholic through Baptism. I choose to remain a Catholic because it had honed me as the person that I am now. Part of who I am was because of the way how I was raised to be God-fearing, to believe in what I believe in. This is despite so many people questioning me, and trying to inject doubt in my mind about my faith. There are many things that I have witnessed, good and bad, that I could say has strengthened my faith in God. After all, in spite of the bad publicity and the controversies that the Catholic Church is facing, it remains strong because of the faith of the people.
