Sorry for the double post. I 'd like to stress out a different point.
Since most of the people are concerned about the whaleshark's unnatural way of feeding. Does anybody concerned on what might happen if you subsequently stop an activity that somehow boosted the tourism-economic lifestyle of Brgy. Tan-awan residents? Like for example, unsa kaha mabati sa mga taga didto kung in-your-face nimu sila ingnun nga "ayaw nag lawgi ang tuki, dapat di na nimo lawgan ang tuki". ? di kaha ka kulatahon didto? hehe
Another thing, pag interview nako sa mga locals, most prolly the reason nganu daghan against ani na activity are the activity itself. Kung buot huna-hunaon, gamai ra ug epekto (sa pagkakaron, tuod problema jud ni sha since dili natural) ang pag lawg sa tuki. It's the carrying capacity, the number of tourists and tourists behavior that counts. Kasagaran sa akung nabantayan didto mga gahig ulo ang tourista ug at the same time di maminaw sa briefing, bisag bawal mag sun-block mag sun block japon. Also, the locals are ok raman since we cannot judge them for having this kind of activity since it boosted their way of life.
Point is, we can't just stress out the problems brought by the tuki's arrival. Actually, it's not arrival man, dugay nana sila diha because Hi-way man daw na sa ilang migratory patterns. Sa mga na interview nako nga fishermen, nanana sila sa wapa sila mataw. The problem lies with the tourists behavior, or in general, the dayo or the non-local people. 2nd rana para nako ang feeding since environmental impact mana sha.
Sa kato gusto mutabang sa amung research pls. PM me sa inyung gusto itampo, happy kai mi ana hehe para daku pud mig grado sa amung term paper.BTW, 3rd year BS-Tourism Management student diay ko.
tawn pud sa mga whale sharks, they're the only thing we have... =c
Naay news karon na nabitik daw sa pukot ang butanding.. resulta na jud nih. Sila na mismo ang mo doul sa mga water vehicles..
may tama ka dun....
NO!!!
The right thing to do is not just give them the"correct food" but leave them be of their natural feeding and survival instincts
dili lang kay basta kay na sugdan na or "it's already there" pero kabalo ta nga sayop ato ghapon padayonon typical kaayo nga batasan nato mga pinoy nga dili maayo
