    Default Cebuano Barefooters

Anyone out there into barefoot running?

Not necessarily in the literal sense. Pwede pud mga sandal/tsinelas/moccasins and other minimalist footwear users.

Anyone care to share their back to basics experiences with running without those high-end yet completely useless footwear?

dili ko tig dagan barefoot but i use minimalist shoes like vibram.

ganahan pud ko motry sa vivobarefoot by terra plana. nihapit ko gahapon sa ayala pero mahal mani. technically kaning sa terra plana are called "moccasins" an early invention of shoes that predates nike by a thousand years. heheh... don't call them moccasins didto sa ayala. apparently they don't know that they're selling it. lolz. The ones for running are the evo and echo models.

All Vibrams are for running though.

daghan gyud benefits ang barefoot running bai. less risk of injury. kanang links akong gipang provide should give you enough insight about the concept.

However, i must warn you all that those who frequently wear shoes should do some prep work. DON'T ASSUME for one second that just because you've ran xx marathons/ultra marathons maayong laki namo sa barefoot running. Here's a reality check: YOU'RE NOT (not subject for debate or negotiation. daghan na disgrasya tungod ani).

When it comes to this thing put your ego behind you. back to basics gyud ni. ako 3 months pa ko nag minimalist and wala pa kaayo ko naka adjust. Mag top of the foot pain pako if mag over exert.

For most of us filipinos na sige nag tsinelas di ta maglisud ug adapt. pero same thing gihapon. mas maayo ang nipis na tsinelas. pero kanang uban diha na rich kids i doubt you frequently wear shoes so you'll have to do some backtracking in exercises.
