For Catholics: Why Do You Remain Catholic?

Why do I remain catholic?

For me..wla na koy angay pangitaon pa sa laing religion,,para nako completo na ang RC...

...Ug usa pod, sure gyud ko nga sa ROMANO KATOLIKO nga relihiyon walay BAYOT or Same *** marriage nga mahitabo....sa kana palang daan nga payts na kaayo na para nako.

Sa kinadaghanang simbahan karon, mao ra ni ang simbahan mga maka trace ug origin way back to Jesus in 33 AD. After all, the Church is for sinners and saints.

Everyone is born religionless. The reason why we think we were born with a religion is mainly because we are born INTO a religion, and this is usually the religion of our parents or whoever took care of us as a child.

too lazy to change religion, and it sucks to give up Christmas. lol. just kidding. Besides it doesn't prohibit exploration of other religions and beliefs. I know of a Catholic nun who practices Zen Buddhism and annually goes on a Zen retreat.

@ TheSkulls: yeah and you can give it up any time. it's your freedom. there are no prescribed ceremonies you have to do, just stop doing Catholic rituals like going to church, praying, confessing, etc. It's easy.
