    My piece:

Let's do our own part... For us simple people: let's start with DISCIPLINE by simply throwing our trash in garbage cans. Sounds simple but the effects are so noticeable. For those gov't officials, please stop being so selfish. You might have gotten tremendous amounts of money for being the backbones of illegal miners and loggers but money is just a paper. It can be wiped out of this world, WE can be wiped out of this world with a single blow. No man is more powerful than nature. We have seen this for so many times (Tsunami in Japan, earthquake volcanic erruptions, FLOOD) so let us not make waste of the remaining time given to us. As long as we're alive we still have a chance. Not a chance to destroy the world further but a chance to rebuild it.. I hope this could help to all of us. And I may say, GOODLUCK TO ALL OF US AND GOODLUCK TO OUR COUNTRY. May unta og dili nani mahitabo sa sunud.

This phenomenon is not only happening here in the Philippines....this is worldwide. Why is this happening? The answer is beyond human comprehension. Humans blaming each other....if it rains continuously for three days (without typhoon), even the best type of drainage system can not withstand the volume of water or even with the presence of thick trees, there's still flooding everywhere. In other words, there could be unexplained power behind all these happenings on earth. With this "pointing finger" attitude of humans, there could even more chaos and troubles. So, my suggestion is that we have to strenghten our faith and seek HIS kingdom .....REPENT.

Correct. Both sides are doing their own part. Government have people who clean the streets, drainage system, rivers etc. while people throw trash. It's like 50 to 1 ratio, 1 metro aide against 50 residents messing up the place.

ang government ang solong agency nga naga handle anang butanga..I blame the government..walay proper drainage nga kadugay na ana nga syudad..overcrowded because of unhealthy policy nga nagpatapok sa mga tao diha sa manila kay walay trabaho saila..di pwede makapananom kay gi-ilog na sa mga mining companies ang bukid..ug mga dagko nga plantasyon sa saging..mao napugos mamuyo sa syudad..walay implementation sa solid waste management program..ultimo garbage truck kay kulang..ga allow ug mga projects nga mga substandard..proper irragation na.ug di dapat papuy-an ng mga lugar na ubos kaayo..unya kay kwartahan man ang developer..sugot dayon ang gobyerno para magtukod ug mga village..ang mga illegal settlers pud di pud tagaan ug saktong relocation kay magamit ang boto panahon sa election..kay kung i relocate mawad-an ug source sa boto karong election..mao nang gubot..pagkahuman tagaan rakag used clothes ug noodles ug tinapa..sabay wave dayon kauban ang iyang igsuon na mudagan tingali karong eleksyon..lipay na dayon ang pinoy..Blame everything to the government..not only PNOY apil tanan gikan pang aguinaldo...
