if your really in a tight budget and your not planning to use it for phone calls and text messaging i think the aurora II will better suit your needs. closest to the specs of galaxy s2 at a price off less than 8k in our local distributor in cebu. i really don't recommend buying exclusive brands since technology nowadays evolves really fast. the what you call hi-end of today will become obsolete over the next 4-6 months. better based your criteria on specs and support rather than fads and brands.

well, ive always wanted a single portable device that could fulfill my needs... needs such as reading, watching videos, browsing, playing games and at the same time a phone but then i realized, i would rather have a not too sophisticated phone and buy a separate multimedia device for the following reasons:
1.) so i could keep my old small phone that i could easily smuggle anywhere(especially sa workplace.hehe) i still use it as a camera and an mp3 player though
2.) battery life = if you have the same device for all then that means shorter battery life
3.) for multitasking purposes, i could still text / make or receive phone calls while playing games or watching videos uninterruptedly on a separate device.
4.) for all other reasons i may not recall while i was typing this :P

so i decided to get a tablet... best bang for my buck and enjoyin it...

completely agree.. but im technologically challenged x.x so online support doesnt really do much haha but i really like the aurora.. ive liked it since the first one came out and ive been thinking of getting it since early this year but it wasnt sold locally then.. but unfortunately i guess its true that women change their mind so often :s and with all the new stuff coming out.. i wasnt sure if i wanted to have a phone AND a tablet at the same time so yar.. but definitely once i get the time i will go to SM to try it out see if it works for me. thanks for the offer though @chryophobia haha parang pc-piso lang XDDD
