usjr doesn't own the lot...end of story...there's a plan to have one campus in tc but as of this writing it still remains a plan...an oval is also being constructed at tc...part of the plan is to make the downtown campus (main campus) a heritage site...

my share of story :

sometime in 1960 USC borrowed money from USJR for their school development, most probably the guarantee was the lot.
where did USJR get the money for loan ? USJR is one of the biggest share holder of San Miguel Corp.

you should probably check USC's history my friend...it has existed even before the UST which is considered to be the oldest "university" in the country...USC has existed as a school since 1595...check the link below so that you'll have an idea about USC
