SM MOA: 22X30 m

di ba SM IMAX Cebu is 14 m tall? asa ka kuha sa imo figures para IMAX Cebu? standard height sa IMAX is 16 m tall, so if correct you're only just missing a meters from top to bottom of screen for IMAX scenes. good enough for me but currently looking for a chance to watch it in MOA.

I ask the manager there @ SM imax cebu even the counter there has no idea of what is the specific size thus ask them, called somebody and give the info of what the numbers I put on are true.... you can bet on me ..

and the 16m meters you said are the "average DIGITAL IMAX" size not the traditional ones

Standard, not average. The one in MOA is a lot bigger than the standard IMAX size and the one is Cebu is taller than your 'average' digital IMAX theater by nearly 4 meters.

So if you compare it with MOA and not just the standard height it's a sizeable difference but it's 'arang-arang' na lng that it's not your average sized digital IMAX.

I Googled around and 14 meters seems to be pretty much the only result I get for Cebu IMAX, maybe others can provide a more accurate one.

*It also could be that ours is smaller because it's digital and the bigger, classic ones like in MOA have film-based projectors. So na japun gamay advantage with ours even though it's not that taller.

what's the gamay advantage with that?....\ and using the word "standard" seems like happy kana ana... most of my friends here in CEBU resist me in watching there IMAX because big screen lng ge pa duol.... they don't even like it

another important note to it... is OK sya kung dli imax camera shot ang movie pra sa digital imax pero the director's intention in watching the film shot w/ imax camera is a different story most filipino don't even know about this ... that's my main problem to it....
