so i realllyy feel like im getting the aurora 2 now that i see that its dual core.. i just wanted to know how long is batt life on full use with music, wifi on? (im a VERY heavy user) also.. i read somewhere about youtube and facebook apps not working? do i have to tweak anything to get it to run or is it all good?

and the 7k.. which one is this.. the 8gb or 16gb?

-> batt life is average..you need to charge it frequently...also, it would really depend on how heavy user you are... for me, I usually charge it everyday...if wifi is always ON I doubt it would last 8hours per charge..

-> facebook and youtube apps not working? I haven't tried these apps...

-> there is no 8Gb version for Aurora 2...

edit.. so i just got an aurora... and is it not supposed to show up as a device on google play on the pc? it keeps on saying connection time out when i try to access google play on the tab itself D:

yeah.. got it fixed at game gizmo. pretty accommodating staff. though at first gahapon kay gi malditahan ra dyud ko haha but it's all good now. chicka2x pa ko didto.. im trying to access google play through the pc now.. limited ra man diay ug apps noh? why kaha na mao man cya ug specs.

How true na naay wifi connection issue ang aurora? anybody having problems with the wifi connectivity? Mu work ang FB and youtube apps ani?

Able to install youtube.. But google play says facebook is not compatible when i tried downloading it


okay.. so cant open youtube. everytime i try to open it it says it stopped working..

also.. can someone help me please? everytime i try to access google play over the wifi on the tab.. it keeps on timing out.. i can access it fine over the SM wifi or over at school x.x the wifi at the house is fine. im using the wifi over the computer and over my mobile. the connection is strong.. over the tab it's showing it at 2 bars.. what can i do? ToT

i am so new to android but installing a new RoM was so easy due to the massive support community... i recently upgraded to the latest 0717 release repacked by F&L superstore and my wifi, wakeup, limited app issues seem to have vanished. working a whole lot better now and i could install fb and other previously uninstallable google apps, and unlimited too, unlike before when you could only view a limited list...

for newbies who have questions i am willing to share what i have learned thru searching...

@ mangoesandkisse: in order to make your aurora ii compatible with google play you have to root it first then change your device ID to galaxy s2 or samsung 7.0 plus tab as a disguise by running some script. it will eliminate all the incompatibility issues you came across from google play and running applications. now if hasulan ka you can just simply flash your device with some modified rom found in Android Tablet Forum : Forums covering all Android Tablets. 0717 release repacked by F&L superstore is a good candidate though i haven't tried it yet. the pack already comes with all the modifications needed to make your auring commpatible to almost any aps you encountered.


@ nanotski : ni exist jud na nga issue in some unit. sudden drop of wifi connection ug short range wifi issue. based on my experience mag depende xa sa router. naay type sa router nga dili kaayo nya masakpan then naa pud type sa router nga bisan pa u tu-a pa sa silingan madakpan gihapan nya ang signal. sa office since layo kaayo ang router sa ako unit mga 3 rooms ang distance. ang ako gibuhat gi change naku ang wifi channel from auto to 11. ni improve ang signal from 0-1 bars to steady 2 bars without dropping na. mas ok pa gali xa kay makasakop jud xa sa wifi ang ako i5500 wala jud tawn xay makit.an bisan unsaun. i also read in some forums that 0717 rom release fixes some related issue with the wifi so better try it yourself if your having some wifi issue with your auring boss.
