flash vs. swishmax (which is better?)

been using swish max up to now, but i can't say it's better than flash

i guess for power users, flash has an edge over the former

flash = lighter, more complex, more customizable, data base can be attached.

shishmax:
1. heavier compared to flash since it's built in anim scripts are geared towards bitmaps, unlike flash easier to edit vectors and animate it from within.

2. faster to use(on rush basis) due to its builtin anims.

3. i noticed most banner ads in the web(since this is frequently edited) are shishmax products.

4. cannot convert .swi to .gif or frame per frame convertion.

5. cannot embed most common movie formats.

6. easier to understand scripting language compared to flash. cons is, less manipulation.

bottomline, shishmax is a product to aid animations.. in which flash is its ancestor.. on the question is better? it depends on your mastery of which among the two. for newbies, stick with flash.. when you get the hang of it and want to do rush projects.. switch to swishmax.

the best parin ang flash in all animation engine around coz i been using it for 3 years now and compare to swish will swich is good if you want todo some thing done on the spot but the problem is you cant see what your doing all of you try it.. and then let me know.. if im wrong...

agree.. swishmax if its on the RUSH.. as i have enumerated.. it still has strenghts and weaknesses.

Para nako SWISHMAX ang mu bagay nako kai intuitive man ang iya interface and pag gamit nako at first dali ra ma sabtan bah and I only use it for simple text animations. I love it's large library of effects to choose from.

Pero for those advanced users na .. I think Flash would really be best for you
