akong uyab Dick, kasuway kayu ug pangabit..
intriguing post TS. you can do away with the disclaimer. lol
i agree with you sis but this does not apply to all married couples...because i believe that it is love that brought them their in the first place, into being married...if you say that dili love lang ang reason why mag minyo, kani ni apply ni siya sa mga arrange marriage, marriage due to pregnancy ug uban pa..kung baga, napugos lang ug minyo sila...
yes, you are right. mao man gani akong ingon na sometimes , lol
and of course, it is really love that brings two individuals into marriage, no questions with that.
since this topic is all about the other woman, usahay man gud pag ma-engage na ang either sa couple into infidelity, di jud nato ma-question pud ug hain na ang LOVE and RESPECT to our partners to begin with, diba?
mao ra sab naka-ingon ko na, pwede pud, ma-panas ang love, or wa juy love in the first place.
coz when we talk about LOVE, na LOVE not the erotic kind of love, this is very powerful. It is ever enduring, ever steadfast, never changing.
peace&love
kaintrigA pod nya dli ti.uod

THE RITE OF MARRIAGE
Celebrant: Dearly beloved ________ and ___________, you have come together in this church so that the Lord may seal and strengthen your love in the presence of the Church’s minister and this community. Christ abundantly blesses this love. He has already consecrated you in baptism and now he enriches and strengthens you by a special sacrament so that you may assume the duties of marriage in mutual and lasting fidelity. And so, in the presence of the Church, I ask you to state your intentions.
Celebrant: _______, did you come here of your own free will to bind yourself forever in the love and service of your husband?
_____: Yes, Father
Celebrant: ______, did you come here of your own free will to bind yourself forever in the love and service of your wife?

EXCHANGE OF CONSENT
Celebrant: _____ and ____, since you wish to contract Holy Matrimony; please join your right hands and express your intention before God and his Church.
______: I, _____, take you, _____, to be my wife. I promise to be true to you in good times and in bad, in sickness and in health. I will love and honor you all the days of my life.
_____: I,______, take you, ______, to be my husband. I promise to be true to you in good times and in bad, in sickness and in health. I will love and honor you all the days of my life.
kindly explain this to me again? ur line: "when we marry, we never mention the word LOVE, only promises to BE with the other person for better or for worse, sickness and health, til death do you part. in other words, we promise to be a partner to the other person, regardless of our emotions. "
or am I just being literal
lol
kaning kabit2x...
da nako na xa ma categorize as LOVE
cuz sa view sa RC mao mani ang love: 4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. (1 Corinthians 13:4-7)
so scr_w me if I am RC, but I abide by that...anyway...if I stick to my own beliefs...regardless of all reasons and logic....
Ang kanang kabit2x..wa nay gugma...BIGA NA...ng.uros.uros na BIGA..lols
Part 3
HE saw her. Darn it, he saw how she froze in front of her car. He saw her hunched against the steering wheel of her car, as they passed by. All he could do was hold on tightly to his wife’s waist...It was all he could do to stop himself from running to the woman he loved the most.
Jane was talking about how their daughter did well on the school’s spelling bee a couple of days ago, while he was on a business trip. He had to gather every ounce of his strength to concentrate on what his wife was saying. The image of a broken woman, his broken woman, kept flashing in his mind, and he had to shake his head a dozen times.
“Andrea will represent the school in the division-wide spelling contest, darling,” Jane was saying. “Aren’t you proud of our little angel?”
“Wow, that’s really great!” Dave replied, forcing an excited smile on his face. “Of course I‘m very proud of her.”
Jane reached out and touched his arm. “You can come with us to the contest, right?”
“I’d need to postpone a few meetings, but it won’t be a problem,” he said, silently wondering how the situation became so twisted.
He loved his daughter dearly, and he knew in his heart that he did not want Andrea to grow up in a broken family. He knew what it felt like to grow up with only one parent. He knew it too well, and that was why he was still holding on.
Dave glanced at Jane, his wife of seven years. And for the millionth time, he cursed himself for wishing that it was somebody else who was sitting beside him. It was cruel. And even though he did not know how he felt about Jane anymore, he did not want to be cruel to her.
He noticed that Jane had been quiet for a few minutes already, and he was fine with that. He concentrated on driving, forcing himself to forget the other woman, even for just a few moments.
“I saw her too, you know,” Jane said, looking out the window.
With a lump in his throat, Dave managed a silent, “Who?”
But Jane remained quiet. He knew too well who she was talking about. So much for not wanting to be cruel.
They arrived at their home after a few minutes, and they were greeted by a cute and excited Andrea. Dave got out of the car and offered a piggy-back ride to his daughter, who jumped up and down.
He looked at his wife just in time to see her take a deep breath and force away the tears that were clearly welling up from her eyes.
