@Bai JayR: wala pa nako ma-check ang brand sa timer nga akong napalit sa ACE Hardware. You may also go directly to ACE Hardware and check if they have stocks now. As far as i know, medyo dali ra ma-out of stocks kini bai. I bought mine for about P400++ for the timer.

For the lighting changes for breeding purposes, you have to meet the 14hr. daylight pero dapat gradual kini siya bai. first you have to set it from 13hrs. and increase 15 minutes every week until you reach the 14hrs.. Never set the lighting to an abrupt 14hrs. because this will trigger unscheduled Molting nila.


For the lightulb, you may use the ordinary flourescent light or best if you can find the "Daylight Bulbs" used in the Marine Aquarium setup. Use the super white Daylight bulb. this is expensive pero its worth it kun gusto ka mag-early season sila sa breeding. I've done this and it yielded a good season for me last season. hope makatabang kini bai

@sir jon, kanus-a mas maayo mag start sa lighting sir? August or October? Then unsay mas maayo, ang light i on ig afternoon na or morning? Lain lain jd akong mabasahan sa net. Ang uban kay ila i on ang light ig 4am-7am, ang uban sad kay ila i on ig 5pm-8pm. asa man jud ang maayo kaha sir para sa tong climate?

thats good bai jayrjun. Getting ready na gyud ka for the breeding season diay bai...regarding the lights: yes lain lain ang setup sa ubang mga breeders.in other countries, they complete the 14hr light requirement by introducing the daylight early so sa kadlawon sila magsugod. others they extend it to 8PM at night. sa akoa, i use the extended daylight to the evening. just be careful nga dili abrupt imong setup kay ma-force molting sila kung imong kaliton.

@finchman mao lagi sir... pro nag libug pako kung unsa jd na time akong i on ang lights then unsa nga time sad kutob...

mag observe pako... kay 10hrs/day man dapat at first diba sir? so lights starts at 6am man siguro, so dapat ang lights til 4pm lang sir? or 12hrs/day jud?
