i grew up with my mom was in the same situation as you are. my mom chose to quit her job that actually pays her 12,000. that was year 1984. that figure is big that time.

my mom stayed home lang kasi she said na its her job to keep me and the household safe while my dad worked abroad. she did some investing on the side though. but she never left the house, she just make some phone calls and asked me to keep my eye on voltes v.

if mukuha jud ka yaya, make sure you have them checked and naa pud sila nbi.

Both.ang bata dili kaayu mukaon food. Only bread and eggs. That's why ang gatas kay 4000 in a month coz 1000 milk per week.

IMO: if given the opportunity, home-base yes, full time no. we live simply. we're not gadget freaks as well (kibaw na mo what I mean). we live within means. and we are “saving for the rainy days”.

Reality does not work like that per your computation.

If tua sa abroad ang bana, the wife nga mag work locally will have a sense of "freedom" by having her own income. And she is open to "opportunities" as well. Go figure.

Sorry pero mao man ni ang real figure sa amo computation. Lahi lahi man ta.So you cannot say nga reality does not work per my computation.Our standard of living is very low, We don't go to fancy restaurants nor eat outside. We only cook vegies, and a little meat, egg, fish, as long as it is healthy,But we were able to try 2,000 per month good for two since the kid only drinks milk 10 oz every two hours.PHP3,500 is even big for a month's budget for us.And dili man pud mi dagkog kaon.
