photography is an art... NOT a fad.
i usually make do on what i already have, making most out of it, so atleast it wont hurt if i cant take a decent photo with expensive gadgets, para atleast mapugos tag toon, either way its just my hobby not really planning to go commercially pro, i think i would call it being practical, instead of getting those expensive toys i just choose a genre where my current gears can be used effectively without using those expensive stuff that in the end of the day ill might just sold it... but still i have some musthavethingsbeforeidie lists
one things for sure that i notice moubos jud pirmi ang market value sa gear... even the lens mo ubos jud na... too many gear, bad result, naypa ihatag na ang uban... hahahaha
apparently its the other way around as what ive notice... ive seen a lot of people buy dslr just for the sake that its IN, for me its more like an expensive point and shoot.... i always tell my wife that my photography gears are not point and shoot or a fad... i enjoy photography and learn the technicalities on getting those best photo...
nice bro pepp! can I share this to our group page sa FB? hehehe
thanks bro pepp! i-credit jud ka nako. hehehe.
anyways what i think about this kay daghan man jud ang ma-biktima aning gear over load or diri sa istorya kay Gear Acquisition Syndrome (G.A.S.). hehehehe. sayangan jud ko anang uban nga mag-palit lang kay basin magamit in the future ang style. why not look for alternatives or think about it for a wee bit longer time para sure lang jud ka sa imong gi-sudlan. naa ko kaila nga at first nag-palit og dslr nya palit dayon og telephoto zoom nya palit sad xa walk-around nga 18-200, expensive flash kay camera brand man, expensive tripod. and then all of a sudden nagmahay xa. ana xa dili man jud xa maayo and wala jud daw xa time para sa hobby. i told him nga sayang kaayo iyang gear. maygani nahalin rapod iyang items pero for me its a loss jud kay dili baya jud nimo ma-bawi imong nagasto sa gear if u sell it even if mura pa xa og new. like in any decision that we do in life we should think about it and not rush into buying gear that we dont even need. right now i know people nga entry level ang gamit and the kit lens yet produce images that are worthy of praise! as a photographer one should not be limited by the gear but by his imagination and creativity. ang ako ma suggest to check if you need the gear is to try out the DIY versions of the gear you want to buy or even borrow (for just a while) just to test out para maka-sulti ka nga kailangan ba jud ni nako or dili. hehehehe
the last time nagka G.A.S. ko was during sinulog, not a very good experience thou i spend 20k in less than 5 minutes, good thing gikan to sa akoa rush nga freelance work atleast wa napagan ako sweldo, lisud na mapaksit tas asawa, but most of it are essential sad noon after that mga ginagmay nalang nga mga gear...
