is lbc the best courier to partner with for online shops? kasi they have a lot of branches everywhere and paying for a little extra to ensure that the package will get to the customers safely and on time is not bad naman. what do you guys think?

We know this is an old thread, but we're hoping to get updated comments about the big 3 courier services. Our take:
LBC
- pricey
- reliable 99 percent of the time with next-day delivery BUT only for Cebu-to-Mla transactions and vice versa
- could not say the above comment for Cebu-to-Cebu transactions... usually maabtan jud ug 3 days ayha maabot
- OK tracking system
Air 21
- slightly cheaper than LBC
- average waiting period is at least two days after shipping
- not that reliable when sending multiple packages kay di man magdungan ug abot even if shipped to the same address and on the same date and branch
- poor tracking system when package is in transit... status updates are reflected when the recipient has already received the item
JRS
- cheapest of the three
- the best for provincial deliveries and shipping documents... really 24-hour express service
- downside: not recommended for sending fragile items... guaranteed na bun-og jud ang box pag-abot
- non-existent online tracking system... need to use the phone to make follow-ups
depende cguro unsa item. anyways jrs is good enough for me, so i dont go to others nalang.
nindot man sad ang JRS ug LBC.. kung magship ka ug perfume, wrap it on bubble wrap.. kanang wrap jud maayo nga di sya mabuak if ever matagak... kahuman nimo butang ug bubble wrap, putson pud nimo sa newspaper..
ask these couriers if they will accept jewelries and watches
nice jrs ky dali ra kayo ma abot.. one day shipping lang sila nya dili mahal
I tried 3 couriers: JRS, LBC, air21... pero with the three couriers i think they're about the same regarding sa service sa price ra ang difference. there are times na maski ang LBC next day delivery maski before cut off time dili next day delivery unya for my items P160
Air 21 3-4 days pero there are cases dali ra maabot like next day or couple of days barato2x compared to LBC by 30-40 pesos
JRS Next day delivery but i would say give it 1-2 days delivery time. cheaper by few pesos than Air21.
Of the three I never had problems with JRS.
My conclusion: I will rather send through JRS or Air21 and will NEVER go for LBC to send my items unless it is preferred by the customer ky bati akong experience sa ila.
basta e pack lang ug klaro ang imong items daan maski unsa na courier.
hi guys~ what about shipping internationally (generally US, singa, Can)? which is the cheapest and with better service?
For valuable items, DHL.
Time Freight is also pretty good, used them a couple of times in the past. Pretty much Dawn Wing under a different name (all part of DPD Laser). Price was good and they were quite quick/reliable.
One of my clients suggested I check out SkyNet as well, can't remember why I decided not to use them - think (THIIIINK) it was a cost issue.
