mods, i respect you a lot. Please be careful with uttering insults and negative words coz we need your respect also. Kung naa man gani magkaparehas nga topic inyo mang i delete and no problem with that. But dili tanan namong post is similar in nature. kung morelate na sa theism/christianity it doesnt mean pareha na nga topic. same thing with foolish/nonsense thread ba, kung imong hunahunaon usa rasad ang tumong ana, foolishness and to idiotize people. Pero lahi2 na sila nga topic.

What Apostle Paul was actually saying in His epistle concerning soteriology is "man can only be saved by faith alone without the works of the law or good works"(Romans 3:28 ), however the books of James neutralize the teaching of Paul because what he was saying is "though you can only be saved by faith alone(James 1:21) faith is expressed with works(James 2:26). Faith must be living, thus it has action. So faith is inward but works is outward. Good works was just an expression of good faith that is living and vital. But is it all about works? No, its all about faith.

Now faith is not a mere comprehension and agreeing. It has a reality. Infact it is to substantiate the things unseen and hope for (Hebrews 11:1). Jesus Christ is the reality of faith (Revelation 2:13). If you have Christ as faith you are save according to the bible (Ephesians 2:8 ).

If you have faith in Jesus as your Saviour it is imperative that you cannot be a Saviour to your self anymore. You cannot depend on Him for your salvation and then at the same you depend on yourself. You cannot share on His salvation for you because His salvation is complete already and left no area for man to improve and add. You cannot share 50% for your salvation. Its either you receive His 100 percent share or forfeit it at once. That is grace. The grace of the Lord Jesus is a perfect gift. He offered Himself at the cross once and for all mankind. As a man He is the qualified sacrifice for sins because He is sinless. As God, the efficacy of His blood is unlimited to everyone and for everyone. He cannot be exausted. Once you ask forgiveness, your sins are forgiven. No sins that cannot be forgiven whatever it is and whenever it is.

The death of Christ is a payment so that man can be forgiven. Christ is the only way for man to be forgiven. Without the death of Christ man cannot be forgiven. God did not just forgiave us irresponsibly . He forgave us to show His infinite love toward us without violating His righteousness. The death of Christ satisfies both attributes of God; love and righteousness.

God forgave us all. But the question stands; did you receive His forgiveness? You will not have it if you will not receive it. Unless you repent and receive Him as the reality of forgiveness, you cannot be saved. Because our salvation is just the Lord Jesus Himself as the reality or actuality of our salvation. We cannot depend on our works for our salvation. We depend on Christ for our salvation.

Actually, you dont have to have big faith to be saved. Infact the bible says you just need a faith as small as mustar seed. The Lord is not hard to please. Faith is not "magsalig" so you dont have to pursue the Lord? No, faith is a lifestyle, because it has been an attitude of your heart the bible say "The just shall live by faith" Romans 1:17. Faith is not about doing something for the Lord, it is abiding always in the Lord. When you ride a bus, work, eat etc...you have to live in and by faith.

magkuyog man gyud diay. kay kung naay genuine faith magbunga man sad diay ug good works.

    OT:
pero kinsa kaha naa nato anih noh? "faith as small as mustard seed" kinsa kaha naay true/genuine faith?

kay naa man gud to giingon:
And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.
nakapangutana lang ko kay wala man koy nakit-an tao nga makahimo sa ingon ani kasayon gud. galibog sad ko ani dapita dah.
