Nothing comes from nothing.
Reincarnation. SAMSARA. Hindus believe in this. It began in India baya...Then Gautama integrated(?) it into the Buddhism we now know. It's not the physical body that is reborn. It is only a transmigration without the physical "self" involved. It is the build up of the 5 aggregates (form, consciousness, feelings, act of will and conceptualization), one on top of the other, that constitutes SAMSARA. Kay in Buddhism and Hinduism, there is no self. There is no individual "I." You die to yourself (ANATA). And the reason why SAMSARA goes on and on is because you have not died to yourself and eliminated your desires.
Sa Buddhists pa na, dili sila ganahan nga sige ug SAMSARA kay their ultimate goal is NIRVANA - the elimination of all desires.
Now, to the question: Do I believe in SAMSARA?....
Maybe I would if I were a Buddhist or Hindu. (hahahaha... taas kaayo intro noh?) But really, it's just crazy that people argue whether this is true or not. The concept of reincarnation has changed greatly over the course of time. And the meanings and importance of it has also changed depending sa person nga nag-introduce. I just chose the concept of SAMSARA because I'm into Buddhism now.
Hahahaha... Babbling. But I'm serious.
Namaste! angelphoenix..nice one...
Yes, nice... More.
The belief in reincarnation, moreover, comes in direct contrast with God’s words written in the bible. In Job 14:12, it is written:
“People die, never to rise. They will never wake up while the sky endures; they will never stir from their sleep.”
When a person dies, he will never rise until the sky or the heavens last. But, is there a point in time when the heavens would no longer be? In II Peter 3:7 and 10, its states:
“ But the heavens and the earth that now exist are being preserved by the same command of God, in order to be destroyed by fire. They are being kept for the day when godless people will be judge and destroyed.
“ But the Day of the Lord will come like a thief. On that Day the heavens will disappear with a shrill noise, the heavenly bodies will burn up and destroyed, and the earth with everything in it will vanish.”
The heavens, or the sky, will yet be destroyed by fire on the day of the Lord. This is the day when Christ will come and those among his servants who die in His name will be first to rise and be worthy of the heavenly kingdom:
“There will be the shout of command, the archangel’s voice, the sound of God’s trumpet, and the Lord himself will come down from heaven. Those who have died believing in Christ will rise to life first;
“then we who are living at that time will be gathered up along with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air.And so we will always be with the Lord.” (I Thess. 4:16-17)
Thessalonians 4:16-17 (New International Version)
16For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. 17After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever.
Those who are not worthy of the heavenly kingdom, those who are not of Christ, are to be included in the resurrection reserved for those to be thrown into the lake of fire (Rev. 20: 4,5, 12-14)
Revelation 20:4-14 (New International Version)
4I saw thrones on which were seated those who had been given authority to judge. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony for Jesus and because of the word of God. They had not worshiped the beast or his image and had not received his mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life and reigned with Christ a thousand years. 5(The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were ended.) This is the first resurrection. 6Blessed and holy are those who have part in the first resurrection. The second death has no power over them, but they will be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with him for a thousand years.
Satan's Doom
7When the thousand years are over, Satan will be released from his prison 8and will go out to deceive the nations in the four corners of the earth—Gog and Magog—to gather them for battle. In number they are like the sand on the seashore. 9They marched across the breadth of the earth and surrounded the camp of God's people, the city he loves. But fire came down from heaven and devoured them. 10And the devil, who deceived them, was thrown into the lake of burning sulfur, where the beast and the false prophet had been thrown. They will be tormented day and night for ever and ever.
The Dead Are Judged
11Then I saw a great white throne and him who was seated on it. Earth and sky fled from his presence, and there was no place for them. 12And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Another book was opened, which is the book of life. The dead were judged according to what they had done as recorded in the books. 13The sea gave up the dead that were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead that were in them, and each person was judged according to what he had done. 14Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. The lake of fire is the second death.
Therefore, earthly existence occurs only once and it is in this lifetime. There is no cycle, as one may call it, where the soul may go through attaining earthly existence in whatever form.

Peace!
Genesis 2:7
And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
I just have few simple and interesting questions... most christians believed that man created from dust, the question now is...
Human bodies are 60-70 percent water, which makes water crucial for our existence. Do you think that we are created from dust as what the bible said?
All living things are dependent on water not on dust, we hate dust di ba?
Factual basis: The human body is primarily fat and water. A significant fraction of the human body is water. Further, the human body is composed of the four elements also. Most of the human body is made up of water.
Who agrees on man created from dust and who agrees that man not created from dust (as presented)?
Moderators: Should this belong here or should this be in one of the evolution/creation thread? I wouldn't mind transferring this... TY.
conditioned genesis...
it means that with all the right elements were present Human beings came to be.
for example if you have an oxygen and hydrogen water can exist.
