I just wanna share my bad experience in one of the biggest schools in Cebu City

Pag general assembly gahapon kai gi klaro jud nila. Tan-awn daw sa chairman imong lawas kung naa bai patik.

i think naa kay grounds to file case ani. kay they deprived u from getting formal education and they are discriminating you by ur physical appearance... kay ang patik maka disturb na sa imong pagtoon or pag kat on...
but if the chairperson claimed that naa na sa school policy, nay grounds ang school di ka dawaton. but still di ta unta ni nila gamit as grounds to disallow a student to enroll in the university.... they need to look into it and make any necessary change sa school policy if there's whole on it...

O.A na jud bitaw ang mga schools these days. Gosh! Nag-rawr jud ko sa experience sa ako manghod nga freshman pa. dili daw xa picturan for i.d coz ipa.shave daw xa. gosh! jombels! nih wla man gani na sa ila 2006 edition nga student handbook. Haler! 2012 na ron, walay revision dha? and to think grabe ka invisible pa sa layo ang tini-tiny facial hair sa ako manghod. maihap ra saimong kamot. mga 3-5 ra. dili maklaro sa layo or maski para sa 1x1 ID picture.

too controlling na au ang mga schools ron. to think sa admin na panahon sauna, wala pa na.
mao nah ila way of resolving social issues or maintaining the reputation of their school?
ala HITLER ang style. hinaot they'll make use of their psychology courses nga gi-offer aron
they'll find proper ways of addressing such issues nila with the students, fashion trend, media influences,
and whatever they got big NO-NOs on.

I think what made TS shared his frustrations is not the tattoo issue rather it is how the chairman explained about their rules. Anyway TS, if you would really like to be a part of that institution, try again. There is no harm in trying considering that you are already aware of the rules. Just hide your tattoos next time. with respect to the TS, Im a parent, too.
Respect and being respectful is one of the best character of a student.
I will never allow my kids to have tattoos. for me it shows that you don't respect your body. If you dont respect your body there's a good chance you will not respect others. That means you may not respect authority and you may not respect the rules on that school.

Your skin is the biggest organ in your body and to do something to an organ of your body just to look cool is actually not cool for me. It shows lack of respect--respect to the one who gave you that body.
You chose to do it so face the consequence.
Call it discrimination. But imagine this-- if student were allowed to have tattoos like highlights on hair, then every students who could withstand the pain of tattooing wears a tattoo? Just to look cool.
Then the campus would look like "muntinlupa".

Here's more.
Its not just the school.
Imagine you have a girlfriend and you want to marry her.
Then you go to her parents, and they see your tattoo.
How do you think they will react if they saw your tattoo.
It is prejudice, sad but true.
But it also shows your character.
If its a catholic school, they want their students to be future role models and professionals.

Syempre ganahan ka manrabaho sa gawas kay mas dako ang sweldo didto.
So moapply kag visa, guess what?
I-deny imong application if they see your tattoo.
If its OK for you to have tattoo, then maybe if you got rich you can open your own school for students who have tattoos.

Yes uso na karon ang tattoo. But schools have been there for years. I assume some of those rules have been changed a lot of times.
If they think wearing tattoo in school is ok, they would have changed it already.

But
what if moreklamo na sad ang naay body piercing?
Then i-allow na sad ang body piercing sa school?
Asa man kutob ang limit sa mga tattoos ug body piercing?
Mura na dayon og DOTA ang campus.
DAGHAN nang tattoo ug body piercing.
Daghan nang ORCS, hehe.
