Ha? Dallas dili ka sulod sa Finals? Pag tsure Makoy oi.. The way they play right now.. they are unbeatable. They have a good defense which translate into good offense.. compare to Suns, where's the defense on that team? hahaha

season after season this is the dallas story. they lead and in the playoffs they choke (even when steve nash was still with them). c'mon, its the west, being the winningest team in the season doesnt translate to a finals berth

I aggre as you said being the winningest team is not a aguarrantee to be in the finals.. com'on bro, this is a different Dallas team compare to a Dallas with steve nash with them.
Dallas with steve nash has no defense like suns right now unlike in their current roster with the current coach this team was so fired up and you can see it their style of play that they want the championship so badly.. So, This is the only team in the west that have an almost automatic chance to be in the finals again this season. MARK MY WORD

indeed, dallas is a title contender this season, especially now that they still have a heartbreak to settle. avery johnson did a very good turn around for the team. josh howard's improvement is big for dallas right now..

here are some things i think that would be a roadblock to dallas right now..

1. san antonio--if not for that ginobili foul, the spurs should've beaten the mavs and have a chance for a second straight title. for sure they'll be coming back hard in the playoffs. this is the perfect payback for the spurs

2. phoenix--two conference finals appearances, and all ended up as defeats. this is the third chance phoenix have. and just like dallas, phoenix is at their prime, they have a better line-up. and yes, they do play mediocre defense, but they can cover it up with high octane defense. for sure d'antoni have reserved something for the playoffs

3. lakers--this might sound odd, but the lakers are playing their best ball since shaq. kobe could take over games and he's unstoppable. one thing that makes them even deadlier is that he's now sharing the ball.

4. denver--if and only if AI and melo could create good chemistry. plus jr smith and camby

common denominator for the spurs and suns? dallas.. for sure they got no love for this team.

Wow... nalingaw lagia ng thread sa Mavs ug Suns. Hehehe. Bibo na kau kay hapit na ang playoffs. Aww, hapit na ba?
Basta ang ako lang, sa naandan naman sad ni, whoever wins the Western Finals will emerge as the NBA Champion for 2006-07.

I could say Detroit is the toughest team in the East right now, pero I don't think they can replicate that feat back in 2003 without Larry Brown. Cleveland is struggling, the Heat are inconsistent, the Wizards are fresh and Chicago is erratic with their performance. So, the focal point is the West.

check this out, last year Team Standing where Miami posted a 52-30 win-loss record. is that a losing record for you? oh com'on..
