Dili ko well versed sa balaod, pero unconstitutional man siguro kung ang HIV test apil sa Medical Entrance Exam sa pag pang apply ug trabaho... or pag apply ug passport.

DILI pd ko abogado brad, pero as far as i know.. ok rman e-require for testing for any medical exam BUT the results if ever positive should not be the grounds for denial of work, etc.. kay discrimination man daw na.. same ra sa drug test, you can ask your work applicants to provide drug test results but once you have employed them, you can't force them to take the drug test.. i think the same applies sa HIV testing..

someone from above said that HIV needs extensive medical exam, YES correct but this HIV test kit, as what the article have said is more or less 92% accurate with small probability of false positive results..

i heard our DOH has opposition for this to be sold in the Philippines.. i still have to know why, but for me.. this is a good step forward in preventing the spread of this scary disease..

^^ I agree, dili nato e deny ug work and other government or private services ang mga HIV positive persons.

Pero naa koy nabasahan sa Labor Code, nga dili pwede apil sa Medical Exam for Job Applicants ang HIV Test. Mas maayo unta e revise ang atong mga balaod, para Mandatory na ang HIV testing sa tanan tao.

Para raman pod ni sa atong tanan safety.. ug sa mga younger and future generations.

It's a step in the right direction. Knowledge is power and this DIY kit should in theory reduce transmission rates. It will likely also go someway towards reducing the stigma associated with what is now a manageable condition.
