For Japanese - If you are looking for authentic and not so expensive meals I would go for Kameyaki and Tempura Grill in SM. They sell good sushi and california maki and cheap at that.

I have yet to try that out. Kameyaki is located in Piazza Elisea, Talamban, Cebu. Just next to Rose Pharmacy and across BUDDIES.

I could say that Rai Rai Ken is expensive and so is Sumo Sam. I have yet to try the latter. I heard Red Kimono is good. If you like hot pot cuisine, I recommend The Shabu Way. They have branches in Ayala, Parkmall and Cybergate.

Sunburst always my favorite except for SM branch. Their chicken is small and their service needs a lot of improvement!

Rai Rai Ken, Sumo Sam, Red Kimono are not authentic Japanese resto. They serve Japanese inspired food with a twist based on the preferred taste of Pinoys. Generally the prices of Japanese foods are on the high side, but I find the restos mentioned rather expensive in terms of value for money. When it comes to authentic taste, I definitely recommend Banri, Yumeya and Nonki. I don't recommend Goku.

Never had authentic Japanese food other than Kameyaki. I could never afford Nonki. :P

The Old Spaghetti House is in SM Cebu. It is right next to Jonies and Goldilocks.
