i think guba na akong router... i tought connection lng sa akong internet daut, pro after 3 days of no internet i decided to call my service provider, that when I figure out,, na working d i akong line, pro ala koy connection..
ng dugdug ug kidlat man ko before wla ng gana akong router, possible ba mao toi cause? or matabang pani akong router.... ngayu ko idea sa mga expert aning butanga.. salamat!

Normally, when hit by lightning, a lot of devices end up getting damaged. If so, it's possible that it's not only your router, but your modem as well (you're lucky only your router was damaged). Anyway, a few things to check:

1. If you connect your computer directly to the modem, do you have a connection? If so, the problem could be w/ the router.

2. Does your router actually still turn on? In my experience w/ lightning, it killed the router. Wouldn't even turn on anymore. I suggest getting a new router, it's probably more cost-effective that having it repaired.

3. Are you still able to connect to your router? Can you access it's homepage (it's usually: http://192.168.1.1 )?

Also, what's your broadband connection? PLDT? Globe? Router model?

before naka suway ko ani nga nagkilat dn ni restart ako pc, pag sud sa desktop wana koy internet connection.. ang naguba ang modem sa isp ug akong built in lan card.. pero ako ra gipailisdan ako modem ug nagpalit ko pci lan card dn ako gi pang taud ok na dayon..

up ko ani bro.. mao pud ni akong buhaton permi if walay connection, check jud ug tarong para ma sure jud nga mao jud ang guba.
