TS, don't be fooled by these 'plots' to rally your church to promote revolutions around the world most of your members hardly know about just because it has 'down with the dictator' rhetoric. The Christian community in Syria are pro-Assad. If you support these actions like in Lebanon and the Libyan uprising against Qaddafi you will be bringing less and less religious freedom on these countries and create more gap between Christians and Muslims there by giving fundamentalists opportunities for higher positions. Freedom has a price.

Amen jud bro.. freedom can be an illusion, a tool used by vested interests to advance their agenda at everyone's expense. The TS post is full of generalizations and is naive. Not all dictatorships are bad, not all democracies are good. We of all people should know that. For every Kim Jong Il there's a Lee Kuan Yew. For every United States there's a Philippines... just my 2c.

Whether democratic or authoritarian the most important thing is to have good leaders. If a dictator is a good leader who cares if he's authoritarian? If on the other hand a democracy is only able to produce lousy leaders then freedom is meaningless.
