using the phone as a desktop pc, If I understand you correctly..Is this what you mean -- > like putting it in a landscape mode and using a mouse and an external (bluetooth) keyboard to just type away the letters ?

If mao na imong pasabot.. then you dont need any root at all. All you have to do is get an MHL Hdmi adapter to connect your phone to your HDMI compliant TV. and from there, you can view your pics, play your phone movies, browsing the internet thru your TV (provided you connect your phone with the adapter to your TV)

This is just an accessory you can buy or comes with the phone *if dala sa package. Also you can buy a USB OTG that enables you to read your external flash drives, or connect your ordinary mouse to your phone and seeing the mouse pointer on your phone's screen and use it as a basic point and click functions inside your phone.

No rooting is done on the aforementioned.

Regarding about laggyness, there are specific games design for specific devices sad. Some games though mo install cya.. but you can't fully run it as the phone's GPU (graphic processing unit) might not be at par with the games intensive graphics as well.

You need to have a special software for that(you need to root your phone so that you can install that software called ChainFire 3D) and install the plugins associated with that software .

Personal preference. I prefer to save most of my games (if madala ug move) to my external SD. In that way, I can fully optimize my phone's internal storage for performance efficiency all the time.

Regarding laggyness in displaying contacts.. try to check with your friend how many contacts he has save on his phone's memory. In my personal opinion.. it shouldn't lag, unless naa kay 4000 contacts naka save siguro.. ana nga time.. murag naa na jud lag gamay ang imong phone.

Again para nako. It would be beneficial to get an External SD card and save all your games and whats-not all thru it. Even your pics /videos/songs and etc. Why? because if worst case scenarios that you have to do a factory reset on your phone.. your pics /videos/songs are still intact inside the External SD card... what is erase lang siguro would be what's inside your phone jud. (phone contacts, texts and etc)

And... because a lot of devices are using Android, there are some that are just entry-level or low-scpecd. Mu lag gyud sila when scrolling through the contacts list even if gamay ra og contacts.

For the S3, wala ni cya nga issue. However, I only have close to 1000 contacts.

I just want to clarify, rooting the S3 will void the warranty, right?

Yup. But you can flash back to Official/Original Stock Firmware and revert back the Phone Status from "Modified" to "Normal" by using the Triangle Away app from the market.

I think mao ramana basihan nila if wala ba na root imung phone

For more info & instructions about the Triangle Away app read here:

Of course it has an impact to it. if you have a fast I/O read/write access SD card, then your games boot much faster and play much faster as compared to a slow I/O RW SD card.

Yes it will, but there are tools at your disposable to also unroot your device to claim warranty whenever you need one.
