I'm a PT, one very important step to follow is the " R.I.C.E. " program ( Just go to google then type search " RICE program for MCL "). And NEVER USE/ MOBILIZE/PRESSURIZE YOUR KNEE in any way before your Physiatrist checks with MRI or conducts special tests.
If you follow the rules, recovery will complete after 1 to 3 months.
