Sorry medyo delayed ang reply to this.. so, let me put it in your way of thinking. If I am able to invest my 100K to istorya.net 10 years ago, then with the amount of ads generated in that 10 years and the boom of the internet technology, how much would my 100k be right now? You started the discussion about focusing about right now, but opportunities that presents themselves now are the risks that we have to take to prosper. And you've been arguing against the corporate analogy but thinking logically that the "reserves" are handled in a corporate way. Even our structure of our executive branch is formulated in a corporate manner. Anyway, this will be my last opinion with regard to the matter. Labad na sa ulo.

I agree that we can benefit from this in the near future. Bisan gamay ra ni nga amount compared sa deficit sa Greece, I think the gesture nga nitabang ta is enough. Ngano maka-benefit ta ani? If the IMF uses this amount to help Greece, then in turn we are helping Greece keep its economy afloat. Now imagine how many OFWs in that country who will continue working there and who will continue sending $$ to the Phils.? Ginansiya ta ani mga boss, dili ta lugi ani.

Reserve fund meaning reserve for emergencies. Dili ni pundo sa government nga gamiton para sa health, education, housing, infrastructures ug uban pa nga public services.

Ang ato ipa borrow is only a billion from $77 billion nato nga dollar reserves. This will be an investment kay with interest man plus nakatabang pa ta sa ubang nasod where naa tay mga OFWs nga nag trabaho didto.

Kung gusto gyud ka mogasto sa 1B, nganong dili nalang man didto nalang kuhaon sa 70+ nga reserve, puslan man nga gusto gyud ninyo gamiton ang reserve nga reserve gani tawag. Nganong initan man gyud na nimo ang 1B nga naa pa man tong 70? The point is, reserve na, dili na dapat igasto. Gipa loan na sa IMF, wala na gibuhat sa gobyerno nato kung walay guarantee, so tabla ra gyapon ug wala gigasto. Other than the interest it would bring (which of course it's not enough), there are other positive effects that the loan would provide. Ingna nalang gyud nga anti-noynoy mo, bisan pag unsay buhaton sa gobyerno, basta naa lang moy ikabira, HALA BIRA! I suggest you open your eyes as well.
