Just six months after breaking ground, Johndorf Ventures Corp. celebrates another mile*stone as it tops off its first condominium project in Cebu, the 148 Residences.

A 10-storey building in Pelaez St.. 148 Residences is the first condominium in downtown Cebu. Its location puts it close to schools such as the Uni*versity of San Carlos, the University of Cebu and the University of Visayas. making 148 Residences ideal for students.

"It's affordable, yet living in luxury," Johndorf Ventures Corp.'s market*ing officer Frances Abegail Lim tells Sun.Star Cebu.

148 Residences offers 148 studio-type modular units, which buyers can join together for more space. Each come finished with tile flooring and bathroom fixtures. Retail establishments such as a convenience store and a coffee shop will occupy the first floor, and the building comes with one level of basement parking.

Johndorf Ventures Corp. prides itself on developments through*out the Philippines that provide convenience, quality comfort, safety and affordability.

In his welcoming remarks at the topping off ceremony last March 15. president Richard Lim commented on the bull*ishness of the real-estate industry in the country.

The developer's focus in horizontal projects, he says, has delayed their penetration in putting up vertical residences, yet Cebu has a big market for condominium buyers outside Manila. By the end of the year, they will be putting up a condo in the Capitol Area, and twin towers will rise in the Colon area by the next year.

As for 148 Residences. Johndorf Ventures Corp. will start selling their units in April, with turn*over set six months after topping off.
