Not that we blame Ensogo... but we did a notice a steady decline in the quality of their deals and a rise in misleading advertising messages. Ergo, we're no longer a happy camper.
First was the Urban Indulgence coupon... We could no longer contact the salon... and after asking Ensogo why, we were told that the salon had folded shop. We had to request for a reversal of the payments. It took ages (and several follow-ups) for Ensogo to do this.
Second was the Oyster Bay promo. We had no problems with how the food tasted. It was really delicious... Our letdown was the advertised serving size (good for 3 to 4 people). The advertised paella plate was fit for just 1 very hungry person. We ended up spending an additional 1k when we visited the restaurant.
Third and last time would be the recent Speedy Laundry deal. The advertising message was phrased in such a way that a coupon was for dry cleaning any one piece of gown, dress or suit. However, a (literally) fine print hinted that the voucher "may" be used as a discount coupon.
Surprise, surprise. The shop is actually going to charge close to 1.5k to dry clean one piece of dress, suit or stuffed toy, and can honor only up to P400 worth of vouchers (2 vouchers) per person. This means you need to pay up 1.1k if you want to get the job done.
I feel for you, bro. I'm actually wondering if Ensogo does not check on the deals they offer. I've used numerous vouchers from Ensogo, and all of them have been really great except for the last one. I'm talking about the dinner for two sa Bellini Bar. Dili jud good for two ang serving size sa food. Instead maka-save mi sa akong uyab, we ended up paying more than our initial budget. Now, I'm not sure if I would be interested of the other deals Ensogo would be offering.
