I always enjoy having breakfast with my Dad since day one.
Over coffee we talked about current events, politics and trivial stuffs.
At such an early age, he encouraged me to read and watch the news
so I would be more aware of the world around me.
I can't forget his favorite line,

"Before you ask "WHY" you have to READ READ READ."
So he "trained" me to have my own opinion and not be afraid to own it.
It is his way of boosting my confidence and self-esteem especially in
talking to people of different walks of life.

That's why I am so grateful to have a good mentor and great teacher in the
person of my Dad, the coolest one in the world!

    Happy Fathers Day, Papa Lito!

    I have tons!

-when he teaches me lessons about how to handle a relationship
-when I was young and he taught me how to ride a motorcycle and learned how to love them and the tricks on how to find a good model...He made a grease monkey out of me. hahahah!!!
-when he teaches me how to cook eggs using paper or sand or just mud.....
-when he takes me to places for nature trippin'... camiguin, bukidnon, iligan... and just simply bond and talk about random things
-when I lie next ti him when I was a kid and ask him kid questions non stop until we fall asleep
-now, when he calls me corny when I say "I love you dad" but then he texts me saying "Love u too anak!"
-when dad had a fight with mom and he talks about it and teaches me lessons on how to handle a relationship....I learned it all from him!!!!!

    I love you dad!!!!!

hi i like this thread TS. I am a son and now a father too. Before kami sa akong dad kay pirme mi nya i treat ug laag2x sa metro colon sa una (wayback elementary pa mi magsoon). Pirme jud mi niya i laag ato para pud malingaw mi, he is so sweet and thoughtful. Then pag college nako, wala raxay comment if naa koy mga hagbong. Instead adto siya ni mama mag reklamo(dili cguro kaya ni papa kasab an mi). Iya pud ko imbitaron ug laag2x with his brothers and cousin, nya inom2x mi.
Si papa kay hardworking kaayo ug iyang gi buhat tanan para lang makahuman mi ug skwela. Masuko siya kung daugdaugon iyang mga anak..

Gimingaw noon ko sa ako papa, he passed away 2yrs ago.

Then based sa ako experience karon, Dad nmn pud ko. Dili d i saun ma amahan, that's why bilib kaayo ko sa ako papa sa iyang mga pag antos pra lang namo. He is a loving husband and a father.
