I agree with bike lanes at the same time stricter implementation of road safety rules. just the other day, I was riding from Ayala to Talamban and no less than 3 stupid ass idiot taxi drivers almost side swiped me just because of them picking up a passenger. to think I was on the right most shoulder and not even going really fast. pasalamat lang jud sila kay lami kaayo ako paminaw nag bike2x ug bug-naw ako ulo.

also, dili tanan bikers perfect. naa pud ubay2x nga kinahanglan ug seminar. sige nako makit.an dinhi sa Mandaue area, mag bike, unya perting hinaya, pero tua sa tunga2x jud sa dalan. unya pataka lang pud ug pangliko usahay.

pero we have to start somewhere, why not start now with us?

Ideally, dapat. But reality wise? Dili practical. I've got to agree that stricter implementation of the law ang kinahanglan.

Then mga drivers walay helmet or any protective gear yet naa sa tunga sa dalan.

Most probably, tapyasan ang dalan.

If stricter implementation sa law ang buhaton, people will be forced to follow it hence, naa nay order ang kadalanan. In the long run, this will also have a positive effect kay makadevelop ug disiplina ang mga tao.

So for me, no to bike lanes (for now), yes to stricter and proper implementation of the law.

I dont mind bike lanes if the pictured bikers rides everyday just like that .

Other than that , I dont see any reason why there is a need for a bikelane ..

The very funny thing is , ang mga nangusog ani are the HOBBYIST and not even real bikers who dwells on the reliability of their bikes as a form of transportation .

if people who need to save money and value their health comprehend this......why does the "well to do" have to drive and go to the gym?

the more we ride, the more we save and the less we depend on smoke belching transportation, the less we have to go see the doctor.

QUIT complaining about traffic, go pedal the city and OWN that moment when you SMILE past these people who look down on bicycles, skateboarders and pedestrians.

do the math, it's that simple
