ok. so i'm really impressed with how efficient s3 is with regards to battery consumption. fully charged at 630. was using 3g the whole time i was surfing the web, fb, twit, had Skype video call with my mom, instagram, download from android store, watched youtube vids, used it as personal hotspot for my mac now the bat charge is still at 31%. i turned down the brightness to about 50% though.

by the way, with regards to the blotches. naa ko nakit-an about 3 blots. but it is visible only when you are in a very dark environment ang looking at a completely black display. and who would be doing that normally? so i guess it's negligible.

anyway, i am loving my s3 right now as much as i love my 4s. my only problem is the capacitive keys beside the home button. i am right handed and when you use it one handed. i often accidentally hit the back key which is somewhat irritating. i know it needs getting used to lang.

wow, so the S3 can sustain a whole day of moderate use at 100% brightness?

This is exactly what I was trying to say. It's only visible if you're watching a pure black image in a very dark environment. If you're looking at an image with BLACK background (even if most part of the image is black) the blotches aren't noticeable anymore.

You won't see those black blotches even if you look hard even if you're looking at the same black image under normal conditions. Even in a room that's poorly lit.

Using my phone since Monday afternoon, and I can say the battery life is definately better than my SGS2.
