it's a massive clamor for a recall of the product...

Apparently it is a hardware manufacturing problem jud....

[HARDWARE FAULT] WIFI antenna loose connection fault. HTC One X [Updated 09.06.2012] - xda-developers

I dont think its on the unit, because in USA wifi connection is not a problem unless one goes deep inside a bldg.

It is , if your unit belongs to the H23, H24 and even in H25 batches... most people does not encounter the said hardware failure, only after months or so, after getting the latest updates and everything.. your phone's wifi detection would decrease gradually until such time nga you cannot get any wifi signal anymore.. on your home network.

Hard long pressing the phone's back is the only trick to boost back your wifi signal, and this is also the way for you to check and verify if indeed it change or boost back your wifi signal.

Make no mistake, it is a hardware issue that many ONE-X user's are now clamoring to have HTC recognize, to issue an official statement on recognizing the manufacturing hardware fault and to eventually issue an all worldwide repair/replacement for the said faulty product....

went to Globe SM ganiha, cant help myself to test S3, feel more plastick-y and cheap, though it somewhat outspec'd HOX.
One-X will just look and feel like the expensive phone.
