why use PS in vector when theres AI? AI usually renders large file than PS. AI effects are limited labi na kong ipa vector tanan plus pantone colors. PS has lots of plug in effects.
How can I save an image in vector format with photoshop? - Yahoo! Answers
Although you can work with vector shapes in Photoshop, Photoshop itself is a pixel/raster based program. You cannot take an image created in Photoshop and just save it as a vector file. When you save the Photoshop image to one that can be printed, you would be flattening all your layers and rasterizing (converting to pixels) any vectors that you used. It's the nature of Photoshop.
You would need Adobe Illustrator to truly create vector-based images. There is a free alternative, it's called Inkscape. Here's the link to the FAQ about Inkscape.

@TS you don't need to learn all the commands studyha lang kung unsay gamit kaayo nimo e anam2x lang aron d ka kalimot dayon sa command, I learned photoshop thru selfstudy ra pud naay daghan tutorial sa youtube, gudluck
TS first gyud learn the basics and the have your UI/workspace save pra di ka malimot. if hilig kag short cut, try to use default shortcut keys pra dili ka mawala bisan dili imong pc. one at a time lang gud sa imo learnings pra sulit gyud then i recommend practice gyud, find time to practice ayaw nang "if you have time".
try lynda.com man guro na..google it pra sure limot man gud ko hehehe..hinay net nko dri blay karon hehe
