you can give fresh greens and fresh fruits (try to pick those that are not very acidic) in very small quantities to your hamsters if you want them to have extra nutrients. it's also really good to give them LC-Vit Multivitamins. mix 5mL of the vitamins with 1Liter of water. or 2.5mL in 500mL water, and so on (just keep the ratio). [or 5 drops in the drinking water (but the box doesn't say how much water)]

advantages:
- you'll have very healthy hamsters
- the multivitamins prevents hamsters from getting sick easily
- it can also help a hamster recover from minor ailments like colds or diarrhea
- you can use LC-Vit on other pets (dogs cats rabbits and chinchilla) so at least the cost is shared

disadvantage:
- if your hamster does not like the taste, you should not mix it in his water since the hamster might stop drinking and get dehydrated. if necessary you can give the vitamins+water mixture through a small syringe
- the water should be changed DAILY if there is LC-Vit in it since it will go bad if kept for a long period of time

Note:
- if you give your hamster fresh food, remember to monitor the cage to make sure they do not get attacked by ants. always keep your hamster's cage clean
- never give food with salt or sugar to your hamster

guys, need help with your personal experiences.. my hammy just gave birth but i cant distinguish the difference of a male and a female.. wa ko kahibaw asa ang inahan,.. magpuwa ba ang abdominal part sa mommy hamster after manganak?? nya unsay buhaton sa babies??

bago pjd ko aning hamster2 bai.. as of now, nahurot jd ang pupz.. dgay kau ko nkadistinguish kng asa ang female ani.. ang female man nuon akng nabuwag... maylng gni kay ok rman ang mommy hammy.. medyo ngluya lng xa pila ka days pero with food, water and vitamins, na maintain ra gd naku iyang health nuon.. sa sunod, at least kahibaw n ko unsay buhaton.. nasayangan lng ko sa 6 kbuok..hehe
