jer, tag pila ang rates did2? naa ba sila piano? gikan ko self study.. daghan feel nako daghan kuwang.. mao na gusto unta ko mo learn..

gikang ra ko self-study.. better gud if i find a piano teacher.. daghan nag ingon ana.. ang piano iceburg2x pud na.. self taught kai tip lang.. deep kaayo na.. well kahibaw ko guitar(taya na pud ko kai wai practice2x ug rason mag guitara.. haha.. ) pero ang guitar like the piano iceburg2x pug.. grabe ka deep..

nah naka limot na gyud ko pila to sauna i think 3k man ciguro 12 sessions 1 hour per session? yep knowing what you dont know is a good thing para makaton gyud ka ahehe

i got used to self studying..but sakto nindot jud music school oi! hehehe ABMUSIC na degree.

Musicians Institute has many sub-departments, They have VIT, KIT, PIT, BIT, most probably you'll head for GIT (Guitar Institute of Technology). Basing on what i heard about one of their popular students, PAUL GILBERT, well, he's much more open minded now compared to what he's done in the past. He's trying a lot of different chordal voicings now, but limited only to his instrument, which is the guitar.
Berklee College on the other hand makes you more than a complete musician. A very outstanding student of theirs is my #1 idol, STEVE VAI. if you pay particular attention to his arrangements, it doesn't just satisfy the guitars. keyboard-wise, drum-wise & the bass lines as well are very challenging. and take note, "He wrote them note for note". That's why a lot of musicians dont stay long in his band, because he's a control freak. The guitarist, bassist and drummer for the band Dream Theater went to Berklee also, but after their first year, they stopped schooling & pursued their music careers. but look at where they are now. all i know is that Berklee has a more demanding requirement than Musicians Institute. You need to submit a demo of your music, either original or cover. but that would pass through the most scrutinizing ears in Berklee. I know a person who passed the demo, anybody out there knows Enoz Vergara's son, Tom from bayanihan village in basak? he did a cover of Chick Corea's "Spain", that even Chick Corea sent him a letter acknowledging him for his splendid rendition. the problem was, He had nobody to sponsor him to study in Boston.
So to sum up all my "yawyaw" GIT=good guitar player
Berklee=very good guitar player+knows how to arrange for different instruments+you care for the other instruments, not only the guitar
