Alcatel OT-Blaze Glory 918N (Android 2.3 Dual-Active SIM)

Good day Alcatel Glory users. I have few questions I hope you can help me on this.
1. I read in several forum that Alcatel 918N is a dual standby sim. My idea of a double standby sim is two sims on standby at the same time and that if you want to use it for any transaction, it is there ready. I you would want to use any of the two, you will have to directly select any sim for any transaction that you want to do. My experience with Alcatel Glory is that when I tried to call using one of the sims, you will have to set first in the sim management button the sim that you want to use. It is not automatic? Its very hassle on the part of the user. At that time I wanted to use sim 2 but what was designated for call and text is the other sim, I end up using my other sim for the call that I would have wanted to use the other sim. In my previous phone, when you make a transaction, you would be ask which sim would you want to use and this is not what I found in my alcatel. I learned later that you will have to go to the sim management button and switch to other sim if you want to use it.
2. I tried downloading Skypes and Viber in this phone and an error will appear. Anybody who has similar experience with me? Please share how you address the problem. Salamat

Guys, Do you think its just the same with the 918N and 918D?
Rootable? Customizable ROM? :noidea:

I could not see the Google Play App installed in my phone. Anybody who have this problem before? been searching over the net for the solution but no lucky I couldn't find any good answers..

@nram: skype and viber is working in my phone.... tanang apps makita nimo sa google play using the android phone, compatible na tanan... problema lang kay gamay ra ang memory sa alcatel glory... try to root ur fone and have a second partition sa imo sd card para nindot ug smooth iya running...

it doesnt have a front cam.
based on my experience skype is supported but does not work on this device, it will auto exit. maybe bec of low ram.
