But the ones who marketed themselves as anti-corruption fighters should be first, to lead by example. So that would be Miriam and Noynoy, followed by the rest. As I said, at least the other Senators never made anti-corruption their campaign platform. This woman has been harping about clean government for years, if she's shown to be a liar that would be hilarious.
Yea that was a bit extreme, but she herself asked for it in court. Didn't she say "God strike me down" or something yesterday? I remember when Mohammad Ali said he was God and a few years later he got Parkinsons... she disrespects not only everyone at court but God as well. That's how arrogant she is...
But anyway this ain't about Miriam, I just hated the way she conducted herself in court. Yea, the prosecution was bad but she really took the cake. Just can't stand her hypocrisy and I can't believe there are people who still believe in her. Damn, wake up to reality folks.
Good point but you just can't deny the fact that people notice her as someone who is feeling intelligent, feeling vocal and all-knowing when she is in a group of made-to-order senators who either appear to listen intently while looking into blank space or crossing his arms in attitude, appearing to decipher what she is blabbing yet scratching their heads for failing to. woman knows what she is talking about. and while we hate the way she conducts herself in a reputable court, people will remember her as the intelligent and outspoken one. and that's not gonna change. Intelligence and arrogance as her best assets...
^ She's so intelligent that she keeps committing the fallacy of battering the opponent with ad hominems. You could say people perceive her to be intelligent because she's right all the time, or you could also say people are mistaking her aggression for being correct. Because she makes a lot of really dumb statements, like her insistence that the standard of evidence in impeachment is the same as a criminal case. I mean when people hear that do they agree because they know she's right or do they only think she's right because they're letting her reputation get ahead of her? Being loudest doesn't make one right. Arrogance can make someone blind to their own mistakes, because in her mind she's infallible even when she clearly makes a lot of mistakes herself and many of her positions are at best only arguably right, one opinion among many that can prevail. If someone did to her what she does to others whenever she makes a mistake, would she appreciate that? Don't think so man...

Palace scouting for CJ replacement - Yahoo! News Philippines
the outcome was real justice at work. now, what i want to look at is for all the senators and the congressmen who think that corona was guilty of a crime by not being truthful about his SALN sign the waiver for their bank accounts to be scrutinized by the people. heck, make it all those who are in the senate, congress, supreme court justices, and the president himself. i know they all have something to hide. na unhand lang nil a si corona. hehehe
you're right. i think her arrogance is really getting the best of her.
but you really can't deny her statement yesterday wasn't all that correct. if atong attitude is that we shouldn't prosecute anyone because none of us are perfect, we're not going to get anywhere. that statement, na gisige niya ug balik2x while shouting in to the mic, was really not right. and to think a lot of people agreed. tsk tsk tsk. the senators might not be without their own faults, but that's not a reason for anyone not to follow the law.
