Hi I'm a registered nurse and I want to tryout call center agent. The big problem of mine that discouraging me to try it out is that I'm not good/fluent in english. Can I still apply or not? I really want a high salary coz we all know salary of dakilang nurse here in the Philippines is....never mind. So any advise,help, etc.? Thank you.

how bad is it?

hows your vocabulary? if good then basin spontaneous speaking ug pronunciation ra imo problem.
it can be worked out. if you have time naa may mga call center training centers for a fee, at least ma practice nimo imo english.
then apply sa on big centers that have communications training like CVG para naa napud ka 1 month to train yourself.

Then keep on practicing. Mao raman na ako gibuhat. from medyo gahi to di na mailhan nga di ka native speaker.
of course it will take time.

as for interviews google for job interview tips and bring confidence to the table. mao jud nay makahire nimo if tan-aw sa HR madala ug training imo english.

practice lang jud... pero kung akong pasultion dli ra Call center agent ang naay dagkog sweldo... try also other job opportunities nga mo suit nimo unya paminaw nimo mo excel ka

practice tongue twisters... they are not really particular in terms of fluency, what matter most is how you present your thoughts and how you convey it. When I applied before, hmmm... not really fluent in english but no bisaya accent, or they call it the "native tongue" just sound neutral., hahahaha... anyhow, they have a month training for your communication skills in CVG, don't know with other companies(I believe its the same). Just be confident when you speak.

P.S: naa ko daghan teammates before na mga rn...same dilemma before they applied in cc...but they made it... good luck TS!

Read n at dsame tym record urself in english daun assess urself or d kaha if speaking in english just be confident.watch more movies in english n listen to foreign songs. Dat helped me make it to the bpo industry!!!!besides wats da use of training!
