Senators Benigno "Noynoy" Aquino III and Ma. Ana Consuelo "Jamby" Madrigal and Olongapo city councilor JC De Los Reyes pledged Tuesday to waive their rights under the Bank Secrecy Law to open their accounts to the public if elected president.
Appearing at the Second Integrity and Human Rights Conference at Hotel Intercontinental Manila, Aquino said he would do so to prove his sincerity in fighting corruption.
But he said he would not presume that members of his Cabinet would do the same, as bank accounts were in the realm of individuals' privacy, protected by the Bill of Rights.

di-a rah. It turns out even PNoy abides to the Bank Secrecy Law as a senator. And to top it off, he didn't fulfill his promise to waive his rights after being elected president. S
^it should be mandated that all politicians submit their right to bank secrecy. Di lang ang katong accused. The whole lot of them.
I agree with you masterjanuarius, especially the way they railroaded this impeachment trial..
This sets a bad precedence. Politicians hurling accusations towards others without reliable evidences, destroying a person's image in the media, exhausting the country's resources-- and all for revenge.
And I find that more dangerous and threatening to our society than to have a Chief Justice who doesn't disclose all his assets in the SALN.
