^ No that's not what I'm saying at all. That's why I said if you wanna do that, bring it up outside of impeachment. For the CJ to bring it up during impeachment was self-serving, and to see his fans lap it up like its the second coming to me is laughable. Hey if you wanna believe the CJ really cares about corruption and not saving his own ass by muddling the issues then that's your call.

And come on, be realistic. The senator-judges aren't going to convict or acquit on the basis of evidence but on the basis of their political careers. You giving those jacktards too much credit...

Never said it was his intention to take the high road or that combating corruption was his aim. Heck he's probably a man cornered in by what a lot of people say is a character assassination, and he had to resort to digging dirt at those who detract him. Regardless of that, ang resulta is benefit for this whole agenda called transparency.

I stand by my previous statement, that corruption is rampant because people allow these politicians to throw mud at each other, and make preconceived conclusions about the party being mud-slingged, all the while excusing those mud-slinggers for crooks because all eyes should be on the accused. Boy, are you guys in for a ride.

ang na appreciate ra nako aning corona mao ra ang pag pirma niya sa waiver nga pwede na ma tan-aw iyang dollar accounts.

Para nako ang iyang unconditional waiver was a face saving move, last card na niya. Ang term nila ani is damage control.
It was a good move on his part kay wala man gi-call sa mga prosecutors ang iyang bluff.

The prosecutors imo should have thought along this line of thinking.
Why did the defense not use the waiver to open the bank accounts if the statements of corona regarding the amounts are correct?
The defense utilising the waiver to open the bank accounts could easily discredit what the prosecutors are claiming about regarding the huge $$ accounts and right there and then wins the case.
The defense & corona are saying the AMLC report is fabricated. The best evidence for the defense to negate the truthfulness of the AMLC report are the bank accounts records themselves since the report being official report coming from AMLC is considered regular unless proven to be pre-fabricated and bloated.

Otoh why did the prosecutors not use the waiver to further bolster the AMLC report?
Perhaps they are hoping that the senators-judges will see it like that?
