The focus shouldnt be on one man. But the focus on THIS case is and should be just one man. Just as a murder case against an accused is a case againt that one accused and not all murderers. Surely the logic that all murderers should confess in order to convict a particular murderer is retarded. No one is disputing that those issues you raise are important but your implication that their resolution is necessary to convict in this case is reaching.... Dont muddle the issue with this crap. You werent crying about it before cj got impeached so you can wait until after this trial to cry about it as well...
For those posters who says that discrepancy or non disclosure of assets in the SALN is not grounds for impeachment of the part of corona. Perhaps they are correct in their argument, not impeachable but instead can be dismissed/removed for public office as shown in the below case.
Google if you want the full case.
A.M. No. P-97-1247 May 14, 1997 (Formerly A.M. OCA I.P.I. No. 95-71-P)
Narita Rabe vs. Delsa M. Flores
Delsa M. Flores, Interpreter III at the Regional Trial Court, Branch IV, Panabo, Davao.
The court issued a Resolution asking her to explain, among other things, “why she did not report her business interest in her sworn statement of Assets, Liabilities and Net Worth, Disclosure of Business Interests and Financial Connections, and Identification of Relatives in the Government Service for the years 1991, 1992, 1993, and 1994”.
The SC ordered Flores’ dismissal “with FORFEITURE of all retirement benefits and accrued leave credits and with PREJUDICE to re-employment in any branch or instrumentality of the government, including government-owned or controlled corporations”.
The business interest in question is a market stall not millions of $$$ and petot btw.
By the way, we are talking here the Chief Justice and this case right now, the Chief Justice or any Justices of SC cannot be removed by the Executive nor Judiciary order but can be removed by the Legislative order through IMPEACHMENT ONLY!

LoL @ all this gullible sheeps.
The way he speaks, every word he utters mura og pa appeal sa emotions sa mga tao, mura og insult sa intelligence sa masses. im so disgusted with his drama. and what the hell di daw cya familiar with these banking terms like "liabilities", He was teaching Banking in one of the universities years ago. WTF!
Thanks for bringing that up. Did i miss something?
That is exactly what is going on right now.
Corona has already been impeached by Congress and now is being tried by the Senate in an impeachment court.
The previous case of the stall owner was tried under RTC and SC and corona's by IC (all are courts right?). Whatever decision arrived at, it is the courts decision, IC at that.
While i agree with your opinion of his body language, emotions aside, those are included in a court hearing. If you are an accused person, you can try to influence everyone in court by probably using your body language, pa-luoy effect, etc.
I think all judges knows how to read body languages, the senators knows that one too i presume.
Notice on the 1st day of his appearance (tuesday), he exudes confidence and exhibits some signs of arrogance. One the 2nd appearance (friday) he was meek and humble.
You simply cannot change a persons' character overnight remember.
walkout over ruled....
