If you are watching yesterday's trial, Mr. Corona said he won't resign in response to Mr. Esrtada's question. Resignation is a form of surrender and acceptance that you made such acts alleged by a complainant. We can see that Mr. Corona wants to show before the court that all the allegations lodged to him were wrong and made-up.

plus the fact if corona is guilty, he had the option to resign early on.

naa man pud ko link dating this month.. wa gihapon na jail ang politiko na incomplete SALN. what more the reason for non inclosure is because of FCL.

If so, guilty dayun si CJ for incomplete SALN how come gipadugay pa man ang impeachment proceedings feb 2012 pa man kaha? they only need 1 article of impeachment out of 8.

.....their is only one way to find out if tinood ni, if tanawon iyang dollar account and opening date, which he already signed a waiver for. but unsa man ang gi buhat sa prosecution? they rested their case! .....

The prosecution is the last unwilling witness in this trial. They just proven that they are not after for the truth by insisting to cling on their own fabricated documents and refusing to use the CJ's waiver to see the original documents from the banks.

again, if abnoy can abolish that law regarding secrecy of dollar accounts and make all government officials transparent on this coz im sure everyone has one, then i will submit myself to him and take back all the hatred this law has been made for some specific reason, to hide money. i dont see any reason why, if anybody can enlighten me, pls do. thank you

^ and my answer, the interpretation of the law is a debatable issue. are the senator judges in a position to rightfully interpret the law? no. their decision on Corona's fate is whether or not they accept Corona's interpretation of the law or not. Salipsip's interpretation is just one of the many possible interpretations.

Is an incomplete declaration of the SALN an impeachable offense? No.

Is it betrayal of public trust if the reason why he did not declare it is because of his interpretation of the law and that he was merely following the norm (exclusion of dollar account in the SALN) among all justices in the Supreme Court from way way way back? No.

As to the question if whether or not these funds were sourced from graft & coprruption is a different issue as this is not included in the articles of impeachment.
