This article really makes a good point about this whole "Vote for Jessica, Pinoys" stuff. It's American Idol, and voting is intended for US citizens ONLY. If you vote for Jessica even if you're not American and you're not residing in the US, it is technically CHEATING.

And para sa mga mo-question kung ngano gipa-apil si Jessica kung dili siya Amerikano, here's news for you: SHE IS AN AMERICAN. She may have a Mexican-Filipino heritage, but she is still an American citizen.

It amazes me and saddens me that a lot of people didn't understand these simple facts, as evidenced in the comments for this article.
